A few decades ago I was a radio DJ with a late night show called “Vinyl Preservative” (VP) which featured rare old recordings that I played from my very own personal collection. The eclectic playlist I chose for each set included everything from rare 78′s to retro vinyl classic records covering some of the first recorded songs ever made, through to early country, cool jazz, instrumental, modern rock (although decidedly on the more obscure side) and much more.

I had a lot of fun during that period of time, but then I fell ill and was forced to stay at home and away from the music station. I’m still disabled, but I now try to make a living online doing what I can. Since I still yearn for the “good ol’ days”, I have created this blog website as an updated version of what I used to do by providing vintage entertainment for others!

My goal here is diversity to expose my readers to a wide range of vintage entertainment archives from old cylinder recordings of the 1800′s to classic movies, old-time radio shows and even some rare “bootleg” live records from the 60′s and 70′s rock decade. A bit of something for everyone!
